The public library at the Ashrama has been rendering service to the community for more than 70 years, since it’s inception in 1940. It has a wide collection of books on all genre such as philosophy, religion, mysticism, linguistics, fiction, history, geography and psychology. There are around 20000 books in various languages and formats. The library has an attractive childrens’ section which has books completely dedicated for little learners and eager students. The library subscribes to 54 periodicals.

The reading facility is free and open to all. Members can borrow books with a membership card for a small fee.
